“To truly experience and to have something to say about a specific place, you have to GET THERE. You have to open your senses and allow the place to enter you.

For myself, I walk. I walk with the intention of dropping down to my center, exploring how my foot falls on this land, how my skin feels, my eyes move, and even what my mouth tastes.

Point Reyes Station — Home,
from 1982 to 2009.

27 years in this one precious area, surrounded by the Point Reyes National Seashore. Held by the land and a community that is as steady as the land. I grew in this town; it is a place that taught me to watch the movement of life and to look into emptiness. This land opened my heart and introduced me to people rich in the essence of this land and my life’s love...I may have stepped away from you Point Reyes, but you will always be in my body.

Home, a blessing of place.”
