Here is some information to help you make your travel plans. Note: No workshop sessions on arrival and departure days.. We recommend that your travel plans for each session are settled at least one month before the start of that session. Thank you. We also ask that singers plan their travel to arrive directly to the workshop and plan all sight seeing and extra travel after the workshop sessions end to reduce the risk of covid for the whole group and Rhiannon.

Rhiannon's farm is near Hilo, on the east side of the big island. Please fly into HILO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. You will travel to your accommodations from Hilo Airport. The houses are usually available approx. 3:00 or 4:00 pm. There is often a very casual gathering in Hilo at a restaurant or in one of the rental homes on arrival day. This may or may not happen depending on the arrival schedule of the individuals in the group and/or covid. This info will come to your in your welcome letter. Arrival day is different for everyone-singers are coming in at different times-they each have to get to a store to buy some groceries for breakfast and get settled in their homes. Still, as possible, we love to gather and say hello and have a dinner or drink together. The singing starts on the farm at 10 am on the first day of teaching.. Singers are responsible for their own ground transportation. Usually someone in each house rents a car -often the singer who arrives first- and the other singers in the house share the expense of the rental during the ATWI workshop. Estimated cost is about $150 for each singer. Margie will help organize the ground transportation. We have houses located near the farm or down in Hilo closer to the water. This is the year to develop new musical friendships.. Contact Margie if you need any advice or clarification. Be sure Margie has your travel info as soon as possible and no later than May. 1, 2022.

| PERUGIA, ITALY | Session I
We will be staying together at a beautiful rural retreat center. Our studio space, lodging and food will all be provided. Our host will provide ground transportation from PERUGIA. Singers will be asked to meet in Perugia on arrival day at 3:00 to meet the van which will take you to the retreat center. It is important to be sure you can meet the van at the stated time. If you plan yo drive yourself to the retreat center arrival time is 4:00 on arrival day.

From Florence: A1 'Florence-Rome' motorway. Exit 'Valdichiana- Bettolle'. Take the 'Perugia-Bettolle' junction of the E45 expressway towards 'Perugia'.
Exit at 'Mantignana', follow the indication 'Mantignana' and as soon as possible the indication 'Capocavallo'; reach and pass 'Capocavallo' continuing towards 'Perugia'. We are in the hamlet 'Canneto', on the right.
From Bologna: direction 'Cesena', exit 'Cesena nord'.
Take the E45 highway, exit 'Pierantonio'.
Follow the indication 'Pantano' and then 'Perugia' up to the hamlet of 'Canneto'.
From South: A1 'Firenze-Roma' motorway. Exit 'Orte'. Take the E45 expressway towards 'Perugia', take the exit 'Perugia-Florence'. Exit at 'Madonna Alta’, turn right towards the stadium and follow the indication 'San Marco' and then 'Cenerente'. We are immediately after the fraction of 'Cenerente' in the hamlet of 'Canneto' on the left.

Because of covid considerations we are planning for a double session in Hawaii (session II & III will be together in Hawaii in 2022) Because the budget for session III for 2022 is a bit different. (normally Transportation, food and lodging for session III will be your responsibility). for 2022 we ask that you plan for the same budget as we normally do for session III. Estimated expenses for session III are usually between $750-$1000 USD. Margie will post more info soon.

*pre-covid we often went to Montreal and Session III would be held at Studio D in Montreal. Shuttles are available from the airport to bring you into the city of Montreal and public transportation is readily available. Transportation, food and lodging for session III will be your responsibility. We recommend Montreal VRBO or AIR B&B lodging options...Note that singers often share housing. Please discuss lodging with your co-pilots-often the group stays all together in one big apartment complex or house. This will be discussed together when you are in Hawaii.

There are three ways to get from airport to town: taxi (approx. $45 CAD), shuttle bus $15/direction or $25 return, and the city bus (747) - only $10, which is good for an entire day on transit) We have a pretty easy to use metro system and good buses. The 747 has multiple drop points, but will connect you to Berri-Uqam metro which is Green + Orange lines.
